Q. IS IT BETTER TO REPAIR OR REPLACE A BROKEN HOME APPLIANCE?

A. An oder appliance in your house leads to one of two choices. You can either call an appliance repair company in an effort to try to save a little money and continue using your current refrigerator, stove, dishwasher or dryer or washer or replace the broken appliance with a new model.

Appliances have an expected lifetime. If your broken appliance is in the beginning or middle part of that lifetime, we would suggest scheduling our appliance repair service. If the home appliance is nearing the end of its expected lifetime, we then recommend replacing it with a new unit if you can afford to.

These are the expected lifetimes of every type of appliances:

Dishwasher: 10 years
Washer: 11 years
Dryer: 14 years
Refrigerator: 15 years
Gas Ovens: 15 years
Electric Stove: 15 years
Freezer: 15 years

Q. WILL YOU OFFER A WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE?

A. Yes. We offer a warranty on manufacturer replacement parts and labor. We use manufacturer replacement parts for GE, LG, Frigidaire, Sub-Zero, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Whirlpool, Wolf, Amana and many other common appliance brands so we preserve the manufacturer’s warranty. Don’t hesitate to contact us anytime after our service if any problems persist with your household appliance.

Q. DO YOU FIX THE APPLIANCE ON THE INITIAL VISIT?

A. We can. We load all of our vans with over 90% of the most common manufacturer replacement appliance parts and all of the necessary tools to perform our repair service. If we need to come back at a later date to wrap up a repair, there will not be an add-on service cost. We estimate that we complete over 90% of our appliance repair appointments on the first visit.

Q. WILL YOU NOTIFY ME WHEN YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY?

A. Yes. We will provide a 1-3 hour window for our repairman to arrive at your residence. We understand how important our customer’s time is and do our best to ensure we arrive in the early part of the service window. But, if a previous appointment or repair goes longer than thought it would, this timeframe allows the technician a little time to still arrive on time within the service window. Our repairmen call 15-20 minutes prior to their arrival.
